When we bought our house, we used a lender recommended by our realtor. The whole experience was smooth but definitely stressful at times.

Whichever lender you decide, do your research. There are definitely pros and cons to online lenders and major banks. Credit Unions tend to have a good rep doe. Just make sure to do your due diligence and I think you'll be fine.

It's funny... I tried to apply on my own using rocket mortgage and they denied me for any loan, my realtor said call her guy... called him and he's like SHIIIIIIIIITTTT.... I can approve you up to 250k

During the closing and everything I was stressed as hell... he's just like... it's fine don't worry... they didn't finish shyt until 10 mins before I showed up to sign my closing papers

Getting ready to Refi soon and get that PMI off the loan

anybody have any suggestions for the best brand for refrigerators? I’ve been told hell no for Samsung which sucks because I can get a bomb discount through my employer. I’m trying to get a French door and I’m not rich like y’all so I need something that regular people buy.

I bought the LG stainless. French doors freezer drawer bottom. One door See thru. I like it. Wasn’t that much.

Thank you. I’m not closing until next year and opted not to have the builder provide a fridge so I’m trying to plan ahead of closing but I don’t wanna buy a lemon if I’m going to be spending thousands of dollars.

Thanks for the advice. I mean I can afford to drop 3k on a fridge I just don’t want to. If it’s all bad when I get closer to closing I’ll look into this especially if inventory is still sketchy.

Props to all you guys for being homeowners. I'm hoping to join the club early next year.

My finances aren't the best but I have minimum debt. It's hard trying to save extra money with the price of everything these days so I've talked to my bank about doing downpayment assistance. I wish I didn't have to do it but I do plan on being in whatever I buy for at least 10 years or so.

LG, I've had a stove, fridge and microwave by them for almost 7 years, 0 issues
