Great fukking way to end a show with a cliffhanger like this. I expect Will to live but I think everyone else is dead. Alana may survive but she will probably be paralyzed if she does.

The way Bryan Fuller explained it, she has a professional curiosity about Hannibal. He's one of a kind, in the context of the show he's arguably the greatest serial killer in history. Regardless of how scared she is, this is a once in a life time opportunity for a psychiatrist to study a psychopath "in the wild", so to speak.

And yeah the last time we saw her she was working with the Feds....but look at how she spoke about him, even then. It was awe....she was :wow:over how brilliant he is. This was even before he handed every major character on the show an L and went on vacation.

Fred.

Yeah I don't know man......I aint gonna give him a pass and just assume it will turn out logically acceptable. At the same time, I'm not gonna judge it negatively yet like I did when it was first revealed. I'm gonna withhold all criticism or praise until I find out more. Just like I was withholding judgement about Will killing Freddie Lounds until I found out the truth.

This Scully shyt has potential to be a major stain on the finale, but honestly I'd give the finale a 10/10 even if I hate the reveal. It was too good before that, the last 20 minutes are some of the best television I have ever seen and without question the best network television I have seen since some of Lost's greatest moments (which all suck now upon reflection haha)

And if the reveal turns out to be acceptable, to me it will still be one of the least memorable parts about the episode. Season 2 wasn't really about that type of "aha" moment...it was a dark, grisly, psychological masterpiece. Did not require TV tricks to enhance it.

Yeah the interview made it seem like he just threw her in at the end with no rhyme or reason. Well see

I've watched this episode 3 more times since the first time I saw it yesterday :wow:

I'm not sure there has ever been a better episode on network television let alone television period. The last 20 minute stretch is phenomenal.

So much than can be talked about in regards to this episode I'll stick to the major points though.

The opening scene with the 2 Will's and Jack and Hannibal was very well done and set the tone for the episode.

Everything else up to the climax of the episode was very well done.

Will making the call to save Jack I think showed his true intentions for those wondering just what side of the fence Will was on or if he was confused.

The Abigail reveal was jaw dropping and totally unexpected. Can't say Alana didn't deserve it though.

The way Hannibal replied to Alana about Jack "In the pantry" ever so softly was funny to me for some reason.

The speech Hannibal gave to Will. :banderas:

The score while he was giving the speech.:banderas:

The teacup shattering:banderas:

Everybody slaughtered:damn:

Only problems I had were response times of the authorities. I mean Alana, an FBI agent called in a shots fired, Will called in for an EMT, and it didn't appear they simply called 911.

Also the Scully thing, but I'll wait and reserve judgement on that after the 1st episode of Season 3.

Other than that this was a close to perfect TV as you can get.

fukk it I'm about to watch again.

This was the only thing that took me out of the show for a second...Hannibal lives in an upscale white neighborhood and after two calls to the authorities the response time was like they were calling from Allegheny Ave in North Philly.

I guess it depends on where he lives in relation to the police station, and where cops patrol in the area. It's not like hours passed, it was around 10 minutes between the time Alana called, and the episode ended.
