Do you have a current regimen?

Can't say I do...

I wash it every 3-4 days and make sure I keep it hydrated with oil......

I don't put grease in my hair....

I keep it covered most of the time cause it's in the early stage where it's too long to brush and lay down but it's too short to comb and look right.... :sadcam:

Your doing good with washing it every few days. Do you do any conditioning or anything like that?

I know the struggle stage sucks. Been there myself :wow:

Right now I have the Cantu Shampoo and Conditioner.....

The conditioner is washout tho....any leave in conditioner you recommend....

The Cantu leave in may be good for you and to seal it with oil. Gotta have something to sink into the strands since oil molecules are too large and coat the hair.

Your doing good... just takes time. :yeshrug:

i'm tempted to try these too. ladies that have had them: are they super heavy?? ( i get headaches if the hair is too heavy.) or hard to manage at all??

I heard if you use super jumbo hair it gets pretty heavy.
For me they aren't heavy at all
and maintenance was pretty easy, just sprayed with water every other say and sealed with an oil or shea butter

ok so what hair did you use?? and how many bags? i want the kind that looks "soft" and has a sheen to it don't know if that makes sense?? i've seen some girls with it and their braids looks kinda dry/rough.

I think its either silky jumbo or silky something. but those are the ones that don't look dry/rough.

I'm scared guys :sadcam:

I will be cutting my hair tomorrow for the first time since 2007. I let my hair grow and rocked a pony tail :jawalrus:

I will be getting this hairstyle but I'm nervous into how I will look
