Dead ass, most of my grind after dailies comes from just fukking around and killing world spawn bosses. As long as you ain't no-lifing every day of the week, chest/resource spawns come back around at a decent rate so just taking different routes between point A and point B is gonna keep you fed.
The only thing to grind towards is the Abyss at the moment - and frankly it doesn't even feel like its meant to be tackled in earnest yet. Floor 9 is the bytch. But by that point, most people have been gear checked a solid 2 or 3 times by the game and had a wakeup call or two. What I need to do right now is tool out my Ningguang to be a hybrid DPS/Healer and retool my Barbara as well. There's lot of stuff you can do with gear in this game and many characters can heal outside of just the labeled healers. Also, I think Bow users are needed later on too. NOT Venti though, since he's a setup guy and you need Bows to hit weak spots and put statuses on enemies more than exploit them.
I'm so done with Venti, I might just build an Amber
I got Fischl too but to be honest I was never really feeling her like that for my team setup.
My two anchors are Ningguang and Beidou. Ningguang is one of the best *single* characters in the game - its her lack of synergies being Geo that kinda cramps things a bit. Her DPS is fukking dumb. She builds energy crazy fast. The geo barrier lets you take more damage than you'd be able to normally and prevents interrupts... just a matter of getting the right weapon for her (and I built a bad one
so that's more grind for me coming soon). Beidou is a gatdamn beast, but she can't carry a team like most other real DPS characters can. Her damage is just too dependent on what the enemy is willing to fight you with. Where many characters can just set up shop and lay down damage constantly, Beidou requires an aggressive enemy focusing on you. When shyt is flowing right, the DPS is probably the best I've got out of anyone. But things don't always go right.
You can live with Barbara doing absolutely nothing for a while. Up until AR 35 really. After that point, you either have to invest in moving her into a better supporting role - like getting her a real weapon, leaning away from the HP stacking a bit and more into Healing Effectiveness artifacts, actually upgrading her damage talents and elemental effects - or just stop upgrading her to save resources while actively building her replacement.
