Just started playing this a week ago. I'm a few hours in. This shyt low key not bad at all for a free to play game and dare I say it a bit more enjoyable than BOTW in certain aspects. Looks beautiful too.

Keep playing, you going really see some beauty of the game. It definitely does a grip of things better than BOTW.

How long is this in terms of story? I'm on a quest now to solve the mystery at some forest.

Easily over 40 hours. You're level gated at some points of story progression, so you can't totally rush through anyway. I've been playing every single day since it dropped and I don't even know how many more story missions I got left. I get lost in these types of games tho and play them at a much slower pace than some of ya'll no-life having slobs. Plus kids n shyt constantly interrupt and intervene. I have been playing this more consistenty than pretty much any game this year tho, but cuz of the latter there, I do often still have steady pause screens enabled.

My AR (Adventure Rank; get familiar with the terms, you bum) is 29. I think the main story at this point comes to a conclusion around 35 or 40. The game is going to get massively expanded upon tho, with at least 5 other regions, each possibly close to size and scale as the two currently present.

I remember you said the sword from the battle pass is the best weapon because you get constant heals from it. I was thinking about going with the bow cause I have two archers in Fisch and Venti but now that I have Qiqi I’m gonna go with the sword.

that shyt will make her a tank because she gets heals from the sword and her abilities allow her to give passive heals to the rest of the party when she’s dealing damage plus it scales with her attack.

If I’m thinking this right she has potential to be a Tank+DPS+Healer if you give her the battle pass sword :dwillhuh:

Nah that sword would actually be a waste on her. Her own heals are so good the sword wouldn't even matter. :wow:

Go with a high damage sword like Prototype Rancour because you're gonna be piling attack on her anyway to get the most out of her heals.

She actually is a good tank+dps+healer. The only down side is she's ice based and the hardest boss in the game (so far anyway) is the wolf....which is ice based. If she was fire or lightning it would be a wrap. :wow:

That’s what I’m currently using with her, the prototype rancour. I’m just thinking of which weapon to choose once I hit level 30 on the battle pass. she’s the only sword user on my main line up. Her ice abilities pair well with Fischl.

If the sword is wasted on her then I might have to go with the Lance or Bow then.

I know that for the Abyss you’ll eventually need two line ups but I’m not even thinking about my second line up yet. Just trying to optimize my first team. It’s going to take a lot of grinding to have two full fledged squads.

game is giving me a headache. Every time I think I’ve settled on a line up I get a new character or find a character that pairs well with a weapon+another support character

I was going to tak Fischl out of my team for Razor, but then I gave Fisch the Sacrificial Bow and now I have almost 100% uptime on her Nightrider (crow) ability and that shyt is great support because I stacked her with attack and the crow deals a lot of damage.

I’m thinking on taking out Xiangling from the line up but I have 5 of her constellations up and her fire abilities pair nicely with Venti

the stress brehs :mjcry:
