Honestly, if you can roll with some 3 star weapons for a while that have some good stats - do that. Its cheaper, they're easier to refine to a high tier, and some are straight up the best option for characters. I got a claymore that was giving me a barrier and plus 12% damage for 20 seconds that was a 4 star. It was nice for a while. Then I looked at one of my 3 stars that was a flat damage increase against enemies effected by electric and pyro. My team is all electric and pyro so I was getting the flat damage increase all the time. Think it started at 10% - after refining it 4 times it at 24% and its generally always activated. I'm never gonna be able to refine that 4 star as many times because I won't get that many duplicates ever.

Yeah I’m rolling with 3 stars for the most part. Mostly because they are easy to come by+Refinement. I do want a better bow for my Venti though

Funny enough, so I got a decent number of good bows. I got one 5* and one 4* bow, equipped to Fischl & Venti, respectively. Yet, I have maxed out levelled, fully refined 3* bow on Amber and she putting out higher raw damage numbers than they are on aimed shots cuz she also fires two arrows at once since I got her constellation up a bit. Luck of the draw, as it were. I'm sure they'll surpass her as I level up eventually for sure, but it'll be next to impossible to fully refine the 5* bow. I have one refinement on the 4* bow tho. I'm not a heavy bow user tho.

Right after posting that I go make a wish and get the Favonius Bow. Cool.

I know you get it at some point through the story as well but I’m not there yet, and it just means I can use for refinement or give it to my Fischl since I’m rocking two archers

Venti was my first (and only) five star pull. Got him fairly easily at that, as it was like my 2nd or 3rd single pull and that was also right after getting a 4-star character, I think either Xiangling or Razor at the time. I want Beidou, Mona and Diluc tho.

Mine too. He was one of my first pulls alongside Barbara. I didn’t even know what I was doing yet and pulled him right after pulling Barbara, back to back. Didn’t even know he was a must have character.

Funny, I've had a Beidou and never use her - keep her on expeditions.

Beidou is my best character. Once get the perk that lets you max out counter damage for timing it right, you're doing more burst damage than just about everyone in the game. Jump in, do stupid damage, tag out.

Chongyun once he hits 70 and gets his first constellation is an absolute monster. Constellation creates ice that deals 50% of his ATK three separate times at the end of his normal combo and he gets a new talent that creates more ice blades when he puts down his AoE. People really sleeping on my nikka man talmbout he's "ok". He'll take your bytch and have her sucking on that popsicle too.
