Are you brehs dropping money on this? How y’all getting so many pulls?

I've just been saving the primogems. I'm adventure rank 29 now. On my initial free beginner pull I got lucky and pulled Razor. I got Xiangling by clearing the 3rd floor. I do hope they change the Wish system though because it's hard to get anything but weapons.

If it gets to a point where I need stamina to get through the game and have to go open my laptop to mark all them shyts then go in a collectathon journey around the map just to grab them I’ll probably put the game down and come back when/if they drop an update where those shyts are easier to track in-game. Really not interested in having to set up a bunch of pins and then go collect the shyts right now

the older I get the lazier I get in terms of what I’m willing to do to have fun in a game

gaming is a weird hobby. When you’re young enough to have all the time in the world to play games you don’t have the money to buy the systems and all the shyt you want to play. When you’re old enough to have the money to fund the hobby, time becomes a commodity and you can’t just be lowlifing games like you used to :francis:

I’m grabbing them shyts when I see them, if they’re in the way, otherwise I’m just going to try and get through the game with the amount of stamina I can gather
This is exactly how I feel as well bro. I have 20 games in my backlog and I’ll still want to pick up more lol

this is exactly where I’m at, as you described. I used to love RPGs and MMOs, things of that nature but now it’s all games I can run in short bursts such as online shooters, battle royales, etc.

I hardly have the patience for Crash Bandicoot and that was my dude.... first game I ever owned.

I wouldn't hold out hope for any of those leaks being legit. They made 50 mil already. They bout to milk these whales for at least a half a year. maybe when they funds start looking light they'll implement less consumer unfriendly things.

I say the writing on the wall when I saw what the game consisted of once you get to around AR 30ish...and already sold my account for like 200. Godspeed for all who stay. I hope for the fans sake this company get their head out of their ass.

These nikkas really selling you the ability to play the game when you reach AR 30 :mjlol: they on pure fukk shyt. Resin is such a scum tactic

I'll probs be back once they start being generous and all the realms are finished

They dropped info on the patches today I think. Update on Nov 11th or 12th. 6 weeks between events. Backend work delayed the event planned and conflicted with the launch priorities. No nerfs to characters. Reputation system, player housing, and other stuff. Inazuma isn't coming for a while, the snowy area above Liyue is coming first.

Not sure what you mean about post AR 30? I'm 32 and still got plenty to do - its the game I expected to play that point.

Think dude is coming from this perspective. The Resin system seems like it restricts you a mobile game would.

If Resin was the same level of limiter that similar mechanics are in other mobile games, you wouldn't even be able to do the story without using it :unimpressed:

shyt, you wouldn't even be able to move from one zone to next without paying that toll. Its always the same crowd complaining about how come they can't no-life a game indefinitely. If you're maxed out in a game like this in under a month or plan to test the upper limits of a PVE environment like this, its a personal choice not some indicative fundamental flaw of the game. Complain about the rates or push for a more valuable battlepass setup - that's the move. Not some "why isn't this an infinite game" argument.

shyt like this is why companies can continue to hoe their customers. You think its fine for them basically to go "well the only meaningful progression we have for you for the next month is hard capped daily by resin. Here you can pay for more though :mjlit: "

Dont be in here crying when enemies one shot you in the future and the only way you can compete is better gear or wishes, both capped by money. The writings on the wall :hubie:

One month? smh :russ:

How long does COD, Division, Destiny, Warcraft, Warframe, FF14, etc go between content drops and updates? A 6 week turnover right after a worldwide launch is ridiculously quick by any standard. And lost in all this is the amount of time in the game you'd even have to put in to have nothing to do but wait on Resin. The vast majority of shyt you farm isn't even dependent on it. So the people who are at the 70s with multiple characters, sitting pretty with everything else they'd need to supplant the resources acquired from Resin, and have a host of characters that even require that sort of *consistent* development are the average player? cmon. You know that don't even make sense.

I get there's a complaint about Resin, but if this is the game you want to herald as progression capped then you don't even know what real restriction looks like. The amount of people who are even effected by that can't amount to even 10% of players - and the ones who decide to be vocal have to be a fraction of that as well. There isn't a single GaaS/MMO/Gacha product made for an infinite game progression loop within the first 6 months. Even Borderlands 1 pushed the power creep button but they literally invented the Battle Pass implementation games are using today.

Any of the other people who've messed around with gacha know that its wild how you don't even check for that type of resource in this game until you're long past the tutorial and shyt. You literally wouldn't even be able to leave the woods if this is was Epic Seven, Raid, GBF, etc.

I got like 3k hours on GBF probs more since android apparently started telling you how dumb you are a few years ago.

Ive played like basically gacha that is popular. GBF is legit probs the only decent rendition of the money model lol. And they still scummy.

I say that to see the monetization and stamina in this game is by far the worst I have ever seen by a considerable margin. Plus those are games you can auto half the time. This is a game you actually have to play play. People enjo6 the combat, let them do more than run around searching for chests and weekly bosses (which inexplicably need resin to lmfao)

I se doom and gloom but Ill probs come back to this game after theyve been humbled and all the 7 regions are out and they fix their monetization. If not, itll die very very fast.

So it seems like the game has attracted different types of players because of the incorrect marketing(or on purpose to get the greatest return on the investment up front)

I think the problem is that you guys treat it like an MMO, i.e you have to log in everyday, you have to min-max etc... but personally I treat it like a single player game, once I'm done with the content now I would just stop playing until the next patch, until the next big content drop.

treat it as a single player game and I think it's one of the best game ever, there is no PVP or any kind of ranking in Genshin, I can play this game totally solo, without the need of party up with others ever and if I do, I do it only with friends who either play the game like me or respect the way I'm playing, because of that I feel no need to min-maxing whatsoever.

here is what I wrote on another thread:

"For me, I play the game like it a single player RPG (BoTW, Witcher 3..etc) and this game is one of the best game I've played for years, I have played it every day since release, nolife it for most of the weekends, and just now I managed to finish Mondstadt and start to move to Liyue, I just have an absolute blast exploring and collecting things in the game world, enjoying the story and playing sidequests, I don't care if chest doesn't contain anything amazing, most games don’t have chests or reward exploration like Genshin does, I just like getting loot for exploring.

and just like a single player RPG, When the content dries up I don't intend to play any longer until the next big content update hits, compared to BoTW, this game is already so much better, the world in BoTW is barely developed compared to the rich world of Genshin that is full of lore and books, no open world bosses. the combat in Genshin feel really good to play too, IMO the ONLY thing BOTW had over Genshin in terms of content was its incredible amount of puzzle dungeons.

so yeah, with such a great single player experience, I can't help but feel a bit irked when I see the complaints about Gacha rate and Resin, legitimate as they might be, it's not what I enjoy and not what i want Mihoyo to focus on, I hope they continue to deliver the single player experience that I love much right now."

on a side note, since I wrote that post I have played another 6 hours and I still have not reached Liyue Harbor because I got sidetracked by exploration and sidequests in the middle of going there, the game is just that good.
