PS5 dropping in a month. Might improve performance even in BC mode plus cross-save will likely be added eventually

With the saves on PS4 to PS5 already being a questionmark, I'm on the fence with anything that isn't being labeled with that transfer capability upfront. Whatever PS is doing to limit cross saves is problematic, not just for this but other games as well.

Yeah, it's the whole closed network thing. I do think they ultimately have to loosen the reigns on that a bit and eventually will. Just no idea at all of when it'll happen. shyt might not even happen until late this gen, if not next gen or something. Who knows.

What do you do exactly to up it? It got mentioned to me a while ago.

It's a mission(trial I think), it'll say world level rank or something like that in the title. Complete it and you go up a level.

You raise your World Level by raising your Adventure Rank. But it's a gradual process.

The game starts at World Level 0, at Adventure Rank 20 it goes to World Level 1.

25-29 is World Level 2.
30-34 is World Level 3.
35-39 is World Level 4.
40-44 is World Level 5.
45-49 is World Level 6.
50-54 is World Level 7.
55-60 is World Level 8.

More dungeons, bosses, and quests open up as you raise your Adventure Rank and monster, boss and dungeons levels all go up each time you raise your World Level.

I played this super briefly on PC. First impression was that it seemed REALLY well made and polished. I had fun and may play more in the future.

the jump from world rank 2 to 3 is what's gonna hit people the hardest

if you haven't laid the foundation down for a solid character by that point you're just gonna get slapped all over the map

I ran into two boss enemies in Liyue that kept healing each other faster than I could burst one down. Had to hold that and leave

There’s no issues with saves if you play it in backwards compatibility mode(which can improve some titles inherently). The issues they have with saves for some titles is because the PS4 version and the PS5 version of certain games are not recognized as the same.

I'll believe it when I see it. Generation transitions are never as smooth as they're made out to be. Especially for games that exist largely outside of a platform's ecosystem.

I’m running Fischl, Xiangling, Barbara and Venti

I’m starting to get a better understanding of the game.

One of the tips people keep mentioning is checking that genshin interactive map and going after the stamina joints but honestly that shyt sounds mad boring and although it would likely make the game a lot easier I don’t have any interest in doing it right now

It's a fun ass game not gonna lie

I feel like Venti should be a standard character from the story, he is way too damn useful in the open world and in combat.

You get so much shyt going from point A to point B anyways. I think I got everything below the final level to max out in each zone. Going back to get them all is a bytch... but I will say that later in the game you're gonna need every fukking drop of stamina to dodge boss attacks unless you've got a healer who can revive or a quality tank you can use properly on deck.
