If it gets to a point where I need stamina to get through the game and have to go open my laptop to mark all them shyts then go in a collectathon journey around the map just to grab them I’ll probably put the game down and come back when/if they drop an update where those shyts are easier to track in-game. Really not interested in having to set up a bunch of pins and then go collect the shyts right now

the older I get the lazier I get in terms of what I’m willing to do to have fun in a game

gaming is a weird hobby. When you’re young enough to have all the time in the world to play games you don’t have the money to buy the systems and all the shyt you want to play. When you’re old enough to have the money to fund the hobby, time becomes a commodity and you can’t just be lowlifing games like you used to

I’m grabbing them shyts when I see them, if they’re in the way, otherwise I’m just going to try and get through the game with the amount of stamina I can gather

You can wait lmao. The 1.1 leaks showed we're getting compasses for chests and oculi in the next update (which should be in 1-2 weeks if not sooner).

Yeah, I fully hear ya bruh. One of the reasons why I always laugh when folks whine about short games. Gimme a short game any day of the week, lol. Time ain't what it was as a kid.

That said, I can definitely appreciate a long game when it's well made, versatile, in-depth with charm and fun as this one. I don't actively look at that interactive map like that either. I only use it when I'm already at some spot on there that I'm too curious to just leave behind and can't figure out how to accomplish what I'm doing there. Otherwise, via happenstance, I acquire a load of shyt just running around doing quests and finding more random, world quests and the like by just going from wherever I currently am to wherever I plan on going. I tend to just pick a quest within my list that's as closest to me as possible or closest to where I also wish to land at later on and go from there.

Brehs, what does ascend a character do? I means besides levelling them up and unlocking talents?

Does it have any impact/effect in the world or enemies level? I’ve been playing pretty slow and not even using my XP items much, but my Fischl just got to level 20 and it’s asking to be ascended but I don’t want to bump her up and then not be able to keep up with enemies if it’s going to scale them up as well because the rest of my team, Venti aside, is kind of low level

While you probably don't want to focus on levelling everyone sky high, there's no reason why not to level of your mains as high as possible. The world only gets higher levelled when your Adventure Rank gets high enough. Someone earlier posted the exact levels that starts to happen. That has nothing to do with any individual characters level for the most part (there's some small amounts of overall AR experience gained with select individual character level ups tho.

For all ya'll, a lil pro tip, when climbing, you get more vertical range when jump climbing when you're using taller characters.

Currently running Razor, Fischl, Xiangling, and Barbara. With Barbara I have all her constellations so that revive with 100% health helps. Also I have the book that boosts attack damage to the character you switch to which helps.

I want Diluc and Venti but can't pull them unfortunately.

Ascending is a huge level up and how you character growth is gated. Its got nothing to do with the World Level or how enemies react to you really. There's no real benefit outside of a significant raw stat jump from the first ascend, but after that it's going to unlock passives and allow you to level specific talents on that specific character.

You'll be made very aware of the World Level increases as they occur. I'm pretty sure you have to complete a quest to go from World Level 1 to 2 anyways.

I've got two characters at level 60 right now. Not too far from having a whole team at 60 but the resources you need for those later ascension ranks are a bytch and will give you plenty to do.

You don't even need those guys if you've got that team. That squad will be able to tackle anything.

Just remember that Barbara's healing scales off of her Max HP, sub her in then get her out, and you've got one of the best pure support/heals in the game.

What is up with the Spears rate drop tho? I literally only got 1 type of 3 star Spear and no other higher grade spears ever. I barely even get low grade ones. Trying to give Xiangling a new weapon already, but they just won't give me one.

AR19 currently, only the Traveler and Fischl are ascended and over 20.
