wanted kazuha but didnt manage to get him and i wasnt often at home when he was in the banner
team is outdated as fukk. im missing a whole lot of artefacts. My account is a mess
im trying to play catch up so ive been grinding today but i ran out of resin

The grind don't stop. Looks like you got a good team, but def try to get Zhongli next time around. He's basically an invincibility cheat code.

Keep at it breh, you’ll get better. Make sure you’re levelling up talents and artifacts and work on your team synergy

Any team with Hu Tao could never be outdated man. She's still top 3 damage in the game with Eula and Ganyu.
The problem is, respectfully, your team synergy is super trash breh.
For example, you have Qiqi (I assume for healing, since you have no shields) with electro traveler. Ice + electro = Super Conduct.
Super Conduct lowers physical DEF by 40%. The issue is, your main damage is Hu Tao....who doesn't do physical damage.
You need to toss electro traveler in the bushes. I don't use traveler, at all.
Do you have any hydro characters? Do you have Xingqiu? Because a water character replacing traveler would be pyro + hydro = Vaporize, which is one of the most damaging combos in the game.
Give me the list of characters you have and I'll be able to go into more detail.

Bruh i got a F2P team of Xingling, Beido(main), Barbara, and Kaea
I got Fischl & Xingqiu
Youtube told me to focus on 1 or 2 characters, who should I be running with as a newbie
You actually got a solid roster.
If Beidou is your main damage you can use Xingqiu with her. Electro + hydro = electro charged.
Xiangling is also a very solid damage dealer. Her and Xingqiu is pyro + hydro = vaporize.
Or, Xiangling + electro = over load.
Hell, Kaeya + Xingqiu = Frozen + Beidou hitting it with her claymore = shattered.
Kaeya + Xingqiu + Xiangling = melt.
etc etc etc.
Fischl is also a very solid character too. I use her frequently on my main team.
For now, if Beidou is your main damage I'd focus on either Xiangling or Xingqiu to compliment her.

Got my Ayaka and Kazuha maxed(minus one artifact each isn't optimal) , so I will focus on her til I get my Shogun-sama

You probably need a healer unless you have shields, yeah. But healers don't take much effort to level/gear, that's why I was focusing on damage dealers.
Xingqiu honestly doesn't do very good damage but if you give him a Sacrificial Sword (40% chance at R1 to reset your elemental skill, 80% at R5) you can spam his elemental skill to fill up his elemental burst. His burst makes water swords that stay, even if you change characters. They attack when you do, the damage adds up fast.
