Got Baal and Kujou 20 rolls in

Beat pity and the 50/50

Thinking about letting this weapon banner humble me real quick

Lost the 50/50 and got Mona finally
Did one more ten pull and got c6 sucrose and Sara

Well, I had 61 pity on the character banner and 58 pity on the weapon banner.

Did 2x 10 pulls on the character banner and got Qiqi.

After that I switched to the weapon banner, did 1x 10 pull and got Engulfing Lightning.

Went back to the character banner, did around 7x 10 pulls and got Baal.

I only ever recommend going for the weapon banner if people are balling/willing to spend. Generally speaking, characters > weapons, so I'd advise saving your wishes for future banners. Unless, as said, you are willing to spend/have enough primos.

I got zero primos right now but since the crystals and their bonuses have reset I'll prob get some that way.
I'm not that interested in Kokomi, so unlike other banners I'm more inclined to pick up the weapon.
Also I have garbage polearms and Zhongli uses my one good spear.

Just know that you're not guaranteed to get the weapon right away. You're on 50/50 twice before it's guaranteed.

Also, reddit calculations have Raiden's second constellation at a 57% increase on her DPS, whereas refinement 1 Engulfing is only a 25% increase over The Catch polearm that you get for free from the fishing thing.

So I still think you'd be better off getting Raiden's constellation than the weapon. However, most things are viable in this game either way and you should play it how you see fit, if you really want the weapon, go for it. You might luck out and get it early. @hex has had some really good luck on the weapon banner

Just had a @hex type of pull

I got Baal, Kujou and 2 constellations, and a Xiangling constellation to get her to 4.
All in 30 pulls.

Also copped the free Aloy too.

Just upgraded the whole team in one night.

Lost on the 50/50 so I got a Diluc constellation. Had enough wishes and got some from the Stardust & Starglitter that I was able to do 60 more wishes and managed to get Raiden.

Got another 5 star on the standard banner and guess what? It was another fukking Keqing
