Wait until you get to the big ass "Geo Godzilla" son of a bytchI got to AR 30 and the difficulty gone crazy
Level Xingqiu for hydro support. Especially since you have Hu Tao for vaporize. That's Jordan and Pippen right there.
I thought Inazuma was over after 2.1, they're adding another island in 2.2?
Anyway, I finished the archon story earlier, was dope. And IMO they successfully transitioned Baal from villain to playable character. I mentioned that might be an issue depending on the writing. But they handled it well enough.
Speaking of Baal, how do you all like her? I have her at 90, with 90 Engulfing Lightning and 6/6/9 talents but she literally only has two artifacts so I can't use her in any real way yet.
I have been running around Inazuma with her in the party just to get a feel for her game play. She's fun but honestly over kill.
But I guess over kill is the name of the game these days so
Fred.
genshin's story is some high quality stuff
Inazuma hit different
Does it really? As much as I like th he game and can appreciate the wealth of lore the game has, I've yet to really get vested into it. Part the reason is it's inconsistent delivery of how the story is relayed.
Yeah it's much darker than Liyue and Mondstadt. Not sure how far you are but this recent archon quest was on some other shyt. Raiden Shogun is definitely no Venti or Zhongli, much more ruthless.

Not to mention....
That soldier Teppei dying. And Baal killing Signora.

I've done a lot of the side quest shyt in Inazuma, cuz I figured that's how you open the islands up and for the most part, that seems to be true. I haven't done much of the actual story age archon quests in a long while. I still have all of Zhong-Li's second chapter to do, haven't even touched Yula's quest, barely grazed Hua Tao's, slightly started the main Inazuma story ones, including a few from Ayaka's introduction and Yomiya or whatever her name is.
I know some might question how can I figure my sentiments of the story without playing much of the new story content, but I know the mechanics of the game and how they deliver them well enough after all this time playing. I find the lore and story interesting, but not enthralling on how it's told.
