Also nothing to go on I know, but I was surprised at how quickly Lewis gapped the field on the race charge at the end.

No deg on Stint 2 and 3. He was booking at the end of this sim.

Will need to see Verstappen and Leclerc run a race sim in tomorrowā€™s evening session to see an apples to apples comp. I think Red Bull still comfortably ahead. McLaren, Merc, and Aston in a similar range, maybe a little behind Ferrari from what weā€™ve seenā€¦

Car may indeed be quicker but I need to see changes in Ferrari in-race strategy, improvement in pit stops etc. last year that crew was keystone cops level.

I've seen enough for now, Max got it.:francis:
Still have hope. If the ferraris are that good on the long runs and with Checo behind, Red Bull will still have their hands full.

What honestly bothers me, is how come checo immediately runs into issues with that red bull?

Max drove with no issues on Wednesday. On Thursday checo have his brakes on fire at start up. Madness...

Nah, Max is going to run away from these dudes by 20+ seconds next weekend.

Don't know about Checo, don't think there's any conspiracy though. shyt happens.

George stretching the legs of the merc. Doesn't look bad in the final sector at all.

I'm sure it'll get skewed but Allison said RBR the strongest, Mercedes in and amongst Ferrari and Aston - didn't mention McLaren at all. Said their long run pace might be slightly better than Ferrari. Still work to do on one lap pace.

Pat Fry (I think) said Leclerc was pushing to get his fast lap, Verstappen basically cruising. Pecking order not gonna change much, but the gaps will.
