I think in addition to the lack of performance these past couple of years, Lewis is also really frustrated that he seemingly hasn't built up enough trust and goodwill within the team (at least amongst the engineers) that his suggestions aren't listened to. Commentators always praise the likes of Schumacher, Alonso, Vettel and now Verstappen for their driving I.Q., but always try to play LH for the dunce. And now it seems like his own team may have taken that view and it's not sitting right with him (as it should not).

Tbh on top of that. I don’t feel like merc have held him down to a level they should’ve since AD21. They let a lot of people get away with saying a lot about him. And I have a hard time believeing someone like Horner would allow the same to happen to max or any of his drivers. shyt rb boycotted sky for them simply keeping it real. Because of the blatant politics (I can’t lie I been watching since 2011)the day lewis hangs it up I’ll become extremely passive about watching races.

Whoever said Lewis should go to ferrari if they give him the reigns I completely agree or even if it was Aston.

Completely agree with your points. There are two sides to every story. For all we know Lewis could be plowing Suzy Wolff, however, the optics suggest a very lukewarm relationship.
