Not bad from Merc especially at a rear limited track. I expected them to get washed by Aston with the upgrades this weekend, but they held up well all things considered. Just happy that they can now focus on bringing performance upgrades to the car now as opposed to trying to get it to behave like they’ve been doing for the past 18 months. James said the upgrades are gonna be coming fast as hard with the next big one being Silverstone. I expect Aston to get walked from that point on.
Perez and Stroll are such disappointments. George showed us today what would happen if the pressure was on. He’s fast, but he’s still got some improving to do. Great race from Nando, even at 40+ he’s still a monster. Merc just needs to figure their shyt out. Just need to see a Max/Lewis front row in Bahrain next year and we Gucci.
