Looks better, no porpoising. Currently in 4th

Well the thing is the gap was so huge last year and I doubt they’ve manage to close it at all.

Merc used to be damn near lapping the field and people caught up. By the end of last season the gap wasn't a ton and it was only straight line speed the RBs were able to pull away from folks.

I don't expect true design changes with the cost cap and wind tunnel restrictions, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them go ahead with a sizable upgrade package if the car is behaving as expected. I'm actually hoping for that and everyone gets completely blindsided next weekend, but I know that's not realistic. They probably will run the engines where they want to though. Last year they were detuned because of all the porpoising. That change alone should remove some of RBR and Ferrari's straight line advantage.
