Fair play to Bottas though, he found around 3 tenths in sector 3. I didn't expect him to close that gap.

Lewis didn't have a great S1 though. The gap would have stayed the same had he hooked that sector up fully.

I feel like Red Bull have fallen into the classic trap, trying to design the fastest car they can for Max instead of trying to make the fastest car and giving the drivers is to drive

I didn't have my eye on the screen for all of the first sector, but I thought he was only down a couple thousandths and Bottas a couple hundredths.

They made their bed, now they have to lie in it . Maybe I need to spend a few weekends with Max's onboards, but it doesn't seem like he gives the right feedback to the team for development.

I'm not up on racing but what makes Hamilton so much better than everybody else? Is his car tuned the differently from his other teammates? Is he just that much smarter than everybody else?
