And this race all of the cars finished except for Max. Maybe he wanted them to crank the engine up higher than Checo/Gasly/Tsunoda. It literally doesn't make any sense to tell a driver that the thing that broke on Max's didn't apply to Checo's car unless Max had something different/special.

All those parts they changed on his car for “reliability”. Bullshyt.

One lap pace is killing Merc but race pace is decent enough to not slide backwards.

Oh and Lewis definitely had the pace. He was less than a second off. They he drifted bout a half second behind that for no reason.

He didn't say it but may have insinuated it. He got told to lift and coast for PU temps a couple times but that wasn't an issue earlier when he was tailing Checo at a presumably hotter part of the day. He closed the gap without much problem after Checo passed George so

Waiting for his post race comments as if it was team orders to hold position then that's just ridiculous. Toto would never ask that of a 7x world champion, SURELY

Nah fukk that. First they compromise Lewis in Jeddah with the experimental setup. This week he’s carrying the sensors that George isn’t and still out qualified . He was much stronger in the race. GR makes me nauseous. I’ll need to watch Lewis’ onboards to see if they forced Lewis to hold position when he started reeling George in. shyt like this could cost Lewis the championship if they get that car working to it’s full potential.

Sky loves George so they'll never report on anything that doesn't make it seem like he earned that spot on merit. They kept hinting George had orders to stay behind Lewis until Lewis pulled away and they had to change that story.

Feels like a decision to give George a confidence boost or maintainer since he's supposed to be there future. Given his remarks after he crossed the line, he knows that podium wasn't his on merit.

People are moving on from Max. You can see it. They just supported Max as a foil to Lewis. They’re team Leclerc. Charles has charisma and presence. Max is a nerd obsessed with racing and racing sims. He isn’t ever really spoken highly of as a champion this season.
