The stage is set perfectly like I said. Max effectively on pole. Lewis with an underwhelming qualifying. We're in for a classic drive on Sunday on a track where overtaking is nigh impossible.

He slowed down before the session was stopped. It was like he thought he could get one more hot lap and in. That's not a mistake I thought he would make in Monaco.
Yeah I thought he was also trying to recharge and get one more lap in with about 20 seconds left.

Yeah, he scraped the barrier and lost time. He still would have been able to cross the line again a go for another lap. But he needed to recharge the battery. Then the accident happened.
Yes he did. At that time he was 3 and a half tenths off. If he continues on there was still a good chance of P4 at best. All hindsight at the end of the day.
