I think Russell needs to be slightly more left in the T1 braking zone and straighten up more out of THE to get the run up the hill. He's treating T2 and T3 as actual corners and it's costing him.

Mr . Saturday loses his first test against real competition.

That Leclerc lap is the best lap I have seen all year. Verstappen won't have it his own way if those two are in equal cars.

Karun deleted his tweet. nikka backpedaling for his life on Twitter :russ:

I didn't see the original tweet, but if he was alluding that the guy with the most championships ever isn't as good as we think then he doesn't get to say "BUT I PRAISED HIM EARLIER THO" as a defense.

He was damn close though.
:yeshrug:

Damn close doesn't give him a pirelli mini tyre.

:mjlol: kidding, considering the hype train yesterday, however, you would have thought he was going to beat bottas by 5 tenths.

Verstappen is probably going to destroy both of them tomorrow.

Albon isnt it.:francis:

WAIT. I just got back from a jog. He was 12th???

If they don't choose Perez or Hulkenberg or Stoffel Vandorne or literally anyone else over him then they don't want a constructor championship next year. The british commentators clearly are pushing the narrative the past few weeks that he should stay because he's another British kid they can fawn over. They call him Thai for diversity, but he's British. He was raised in Suffolk.
