Looks like Russell's car was below the minimum weight.

That usually result in DQ I think.

Now if this is the case, and they pitted George, he would have missed the podium but would have easily been in the points and likely avoided DQ.

No lies told. I bet no one told Lewis that George was staying out until later in the stint. Lewis made no effort to close up to George until he was about 5 laps into his stint.

Yeah they didn't communicate the one stop. They covered off Leclerc, had him bring the tires in gently, and then eventually told him he needed .6 per lap to catch George.

Canā€™t pass a man on the same compound thatā€™s like 20 laps older is frankly embarrassing. Iā€™d be pissed too.
A lot more goes in to F1 than you or I can comprehend
Sidenote - I wonder if that was it for Checo. Ended up a complete non-factor.
Not looking good, most of the remaining tracks have high speed corners and thats where he struggles
