I remember the last time I asked regular people for opinions on TV shows, True Blood was the consensus choice.. is that still a thing?

Basically GOT with vampires I'm guessing.

Dragons and ice zombies?

You may be trolling, but fair play for not liking it...however GoT (A Song of Ice and Fire) is up there with the works of Tolkien and has a really extensive mythos and history attached. HBO has done a great job so far in creating a visual. A lot of people are into fantasy, and throw in politics and you have a hit. Why do you think Elder Scrolls is big as well? We like that third earth shyt

Dragons and ice zombies?

Dragons rarely feature. Zombies show up once every five episodes.

Best way of describing Thrones is that it's a political drama. All these people vying to rule the kingdom, and all the great detail that goes into making this fake world seem real. Not the best show on TV, but probably the most fun show to talk about "around the watercooler".

My imagination has to be flabby and sick because I can't get into the fantasy genre at all.

My brother has been recommending Walking Dead to me non-stop, as soon as he said zombies I switched off

True Blood is awful. I don't know what HBO is gonna do from when GoT ends and True Detective starts up again.

At least Veep and Silicon Valley is still piff.
