Rival Premier League clubs demand action on Man City over financial fair play

At least a dozen top-flight clubs are planning to write to the Premier League to ask what action they intend to take over alleged breaches of financial fair play by Manchester City. In an unprecedented move, the clubs intend to call on the Premier League to clarify its position over the accusations.

The Times understands that a majority of clubs are already on board with the proposal and more were being asked to sign up last night. The development illustrates how scepticism over City’s practices permeates beyond their immediate top-six rivals.

The whole league fed up with this :francis:

If you actually read up on the allegations you'd know they were garbage.

But hey life comes at you fast when a 7 point lead becomes a 1 point deficit and all your manager can do is blame wind and water.

I don't see what this has to do with Liverpool

UEFA investigating..Der Speigel provides receipts...all the other clubs write to the PL to take action

Your response? It's all lies

The fact is clubs don't want to compete with the unlimited resources of an oil state

There should be an asterisk by all City trophies post oil money same way we penalise Drake for ghostwriting

Lol.

It was cool when United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea outspent everyone and won everything.

Now that City is spending, let's have some rules to this.

FFP stories always come up when City come back to the top of the table. The agenda is so clear. Keep it coming.

exactly! those other 12 clubs should ask for FFP to be revoked. Because if anything its preventing them from making investments to sign a player(s) who may help them reach climb the table.
who actually cares where the investment comes from. imagine telling an owner who invests not only in the club but also in the city they cant inject cash into the club. Also which if i recall correctly city havent injected any cash from ownership in season. WE ARENT THE ONES SPENDinG 80 MILL PLUS ON PLAYERS!!

i will say if city tapped up sancho at 14 and shook up the relationship with his club there should be a fine. we also need to protect small clubs from having possible foundational players taken from right under their nose.
