English teams have the money but don't have the players. Each of Barca's front 3 could be the leader of any EPL team. They have money but so do Real, Barca,Bayern and PSG. English teams are waiting for Real to offload players they don't need just to compete. Real's bench when everyone's fit has players who would start for top 4 teams. A lot has happened since Chelsea won in 2012 with other teams greatly improving way beyond what the English teams have done. The best forwards all play outside England, no CM that can compete with Real/Bayern and even Juve too. The only big star to move into the league has been Pogba.
