What thing and when?
Leading up to the U.S. Men’s National Team’s game against Turkey on Sunday, June 1 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, the second of three Send-Off Series games, U.S. Soccer and its fans will have a day full of activities in New York on Friday, May 30, to celebrate Fan Appreciation Day. The MNT will appear on Good Morning America and U.S. Soccer will host a Fan Fest in Times Square. That will be followed by an ESPN FC Special, broadcast from Times Square and a discussion by the Men in Blazers at the Town Hall.

Friday, May 30 (times ET) - Fan Appreciation Day:



  • 8 a.m.: Good Morning America; also at GMA, Grammy Award-winning rapper and Queens, New York, native 50 Cent will be performing
  • 1-5 p.m.: Fan Fest in Times Square; free to the public
  • 5-6 p.m.: ESPN FC Special, live from Times Square
  • 7:30 p.m.: Men in Blazers at The Town Hall: Players from the 1994 U.S. World Cup Team and the current squad will be on hand on the evening of Friday, May 30, to take part in a live Men in Blazers event. The discussion will take place at The Town Hall at 123 W. 43rd St. in New York, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available beginning May 12 on Ticketmaster, at The Town Hall Box Office, or online via thetownhall.org and meninblazers.com.
The U.S. MNT will also host a public training session on Saturday, May 31 at Red Bull Arena from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Welbeck need to leave United and go to where he can start consistently. He was only brought up because he was from Manchester and a youth product. Sturridge benefited from more playing time, i'd expect Welbeck to have the same effect.
