It's more like betting a billionaire who to whom the money means absolutely nothing. If you dared me to leave for a year i'd shrug and say "cool, ok" tbf.

just watched the game on motd

gotdamn :patrice: that was fuccin embarassing, and actually worse than the united 8-2...because of the smugness of mourinho pre, during and after the match and him having wenger utterly and completely in his pocket

mou giving wenger several backhand compliments over wenger reaching 1000 games :banderas:

mou leaving mins before full time to save wenger the embarassment of a handshake :banderas:

mou basically saying "EASY WERK, EASY WERK...EAAAAASY :youngsabo:" in the post match motd interview :banderas:

sorry brehs but this team needs to be blown up :yeshrug:

and it needs more black players in the team :yeshrug:

wonga out here gettin AVB results :heh:

WHAT exactly allows him to be considered a top manager anymore?

He did a hell of a job navigating the transition but his stubborness has been doing him in the last 3 years. Can't defend him after Anfield and this. Not even on the transfers where has good but fitness and tactics.

Getting raped happens :manny: but Liverpool, City, and Chelsea all did the exact same thing. In big games he goes for a Grand Slam and that hasn't been our style. He set them up to fail.

this all sounds like something we'd say about tony pulis or sam allardyce. certainly not shyt managers of course, but top class? naw

Maybe @frush11 can tell us? :leon:
he's currently putting together the powerpoint presentation of how today proves that mourinho is actually a shyt manager after all

smh fukkin chelsea, could've had 10 and dented city's goal differential, only low class wannabe teams score 6 goals and only decrease their title rival's GD by 1. you just can't buy class brehs

Not blown up but done with the likes of Cazorla, Arteta, Giroud, Flamini, and sadly the fullbacks (who offer nothing offensively) in the first 11. Ramsey, Ozil, Ox, Theo, Podolski (hes another shyt one too tbh), Chez, and the CBs are good moving forward. Need power and directness with our quick passing. Oh and Wenger not being a fukking Cowboy in league matches, he doesn't play play like this in Europe. Objective over the summer is more pace and directness.

Definitely agree on black players but we lack presence above everything, Matic/Yaya have that. Ramsey drives us forward but thats about it. Why I wanted someone like Kondogbia last summer. This team is too nice, need more c*nts, more RVPs :to: nothing is scary about Arsenal.

I felt bad for Wenger for like 1 second. When they were singing Specialist in failure.

Also, i knew we were going to lose by Wednesday. You don't see Chelsea or United taking fukking selfies after big wins. That was embarrassing even if it was against Spurs, so small time. Fitting Chesney led that celebration because he can be a fukking clown.

they take after their leader. all that high minded professorial "play the right way" bullshyt leads to nothing when you dont have the best of the best playing for you

Yep, too idealistc. As well as this belief that good things will eventually happen to good people bullshyt. I would hate Mourinho to be our manager but at least he is pragmatic. I'm telling you man, the 6 today doesn't hurt because it was 6 but it hurts because we haven't learned in ANY of our big league matches.

I'm not a big fan of Wilshere but at least he embodies that spirit. The old Wenger teams were nasty b*stards: Vieira, Lauren, Sol, Bould, Cole, Henry, Bergkamp, Edu, Persie...they all had an edge to them even the "soft" ones like Pires. This team has Wilshere, Sagna, and Flamini (another fraud too).

I knew we weren't bout that life when our striker was apologizing for cheating on his wife. nikka you a footballer, if you weren't I would be worried.

i said we should've got matic last week, but noone commented on it or dapped it so i thought i was just flat out wrong. we need some fuccing power in the midfield...we're way too small and prissy.

i really do think we need some new ideas though, or even a new philosophy :patrice: cos it pains me to say it but i don't think wenger can really do it anymore

he's getting outsmarted a lot. actually, i think he's too stubborn because its really easy to beat us if you have the players to press and then counter effectively smh

Yikes. I just watched the MOTD highlights. I stopped watching at halftime and started to watch Moonrise Kingdom (Brilliant movie by the way. Really made me feel some type of way, the end scene :to:
)

But the most annoying thing about this team is their tendency to fukking feel sorry for themselves when they get in the shyt. All longing stares out into the open skies, sighs, stony faced what-if mannerisms, Wenger petulantly tossing his water bottle, there's a fukking match going on you fukkwits, sack up and get on with it.

But then again I've been thinking for a while how fukking futile things in football can be sometimes (uh oh, here we go :beli:...)

How fickleness is so easy to relax into. How fans can heap praise on a player but then want to sell them next match. It just rubs me the wrong way. And I think splintering off a bit from this is the idealism and philosophy stuff people were talking about and how once you get into the thick of that mentality it's really easy for a team, when it's going wrong, to completely give up and save face. At least you're nice.

And if only things could work out that way. The nice philosophy, but there's only one Barca, it's generally the blood and thunder runaway cart type of football that wins at the end of the day which Wengbot just can't do.

Which is to say that maybe it's time for Wengbot to go. I don't think I've ever said that, but there is a fundamental lack of the ability to galvanize his charges. It's been so clear over the years. He just doesn't stir them, it's all too cerebral, too free-spirited, reigned in and taut, hoping that some football magic will ooze out and overcome the opponents.

He's got that cute grandpa syndrome about him. Old, unable to really do his job anymore, adorable when things go right but can sometimes shift to quick tempered outbreaks and obduracy for no articulated reason.

And then I turned off MOTD because a Russell fukking Brand appearance was imminent.

I've actually debated the bold. This is actually very good and interesting, can make a case for both tbh. More inclined to say he's just stubborn because tactically he has been very good the last 3-4 years without the quality in players (our best team over the last 5 years had Djourou and Koscielny in his first year in England as our starting CBs :mjlol:). He turns it on and off. Again too, he was trying to replace Arteta (Lars Bender) and Giroud (Suarez/Higuain) during the summer, seems like he knows the issues in this team but he won't overpay. Just stubborn.

We weren't getting Matic. Anything with third party ownership or Portugal, we aren't seeing them. It's Germany, France, or Italy for us. Right type of player but for some in reason in football certain things don't happen unless you're PSG or connected with certain agents. All clubs seem to have the certain zones and networks for their transfer activity.

the thing that has me befuddled is that everyone who isnt an arsenal supporter has known this for years

who the fukk would wanna play for this dude? he mistakes being quiet for being collected, and confident. but you can tell dude is arrogant and furious, he just won't express it because he thinks we're all too dumb to understand his elevated plane of thinking.

i'd bet he doesn't even look his players in the eyes
