The away goal is simple (the home team is always the first one on the score line) :
- If both legs are draws, the team that scored the most goals away is through
(PSG - Barça 2-2 | Barça - PSG : 1-1 ---> 3-3 agg, Barça wins)
- If both teams won a leg, the team that scored the most goals away is through
(XXX - YYY 4-2 | YYY - XXX : 3-1 ---> 5-5 agg, but YYY wins because they scored two away while XXX scored only one)
- If they draw in both legs by the same score or each team win one leg by the same score, they go overtime.
This basically says that it's harder to score away, so you deserve more when you do it.
