The individuals are being compared but you're comparing their team accolades.

They all played significant parts in their team accolades.

It is a team sport after all.

:ld:

When brehs pull out team achievements you know it's over

Does that mean Choupo-Moting is a better striker than Kane :lupe:

It means you need to take everything into account when evaluating individual players, rather than only their stats.

Salah may of had 60+ G/A, but Liverpool ended up runners up, whereas Di Maria might of had (for example) 40 G/A in multiple seasons where he won something.

If we're evaluating based solely on that, everyone would say Di Maria is (was) the better player.

This is an outrageous comment and pure disrespect to Gundogan.

Kovacic has only ever been good at one thing: ball carrying. And he has declined in that area too:

Even at his best when breaking the press, he almost always made the wrong decision with the final pass or action. Look at his pitiful goals and assists numbers.

He is an elite ball watcher too, one of the worst off the ball players I've ever seen.

Kovacic has gone back to the role that suited him best: being a back up, rotation player at a super club.

Smh at @Yayo Toure dapping that comment after watching Gundogan for the last 7 years. Certain man clearly have no idea what they're watching. That Macn City team is wasted on you, brother.:mjcry:

Ball watching as always:

Barely makes back into the box, watching everything unfold :dead:

This the same guy we're led to believe is doing brilliantly now because he joined the best team in Europe.

Arsenal wasting all that on Havertz might be the weirdest signings in the Premier League history. Literally made no sense.

Arteta was there thinking he's some kind of footballing visionary and able to see something the rest of us can't :mjlol:

shyt is stunning. He has zero confidence, can only do back passes and looks clinically depressed on the field.

How?

Hazard - 4x League Champion, 1x Champion's League Winner
Di Maria - 6x League Champion, 1x Champion's League Winner, 1x World Cup Winner, 1x Copa America Winner
Bale - 3x League Champion, 5x Champion's League Winner

Salah 1x League Champion (2 if you want to include the Swiss League :mjlol:), 1x Champion's League Winner

:ld:

Of course, use team accomplishments to determine best player. It’s not like any of those three players had to deal with Pep's Man City. :unimpressed:
