They’re loaning him to Real with no obligation to buy and with no replacement lined up. Chelsea gain nothing from this deal.

You’d rather an ass goalkeeper than no goalkeeper.
They already got Robert Sanchez from Brighton and if Kepa doesn't completely choke at Real his value can only go up.

Tuchel is a terrorist. Sissi his wife was the true tactico in the relationship.

They gain Kepa leaving because he is ass :dahell:

They’re selling their first choice keeper one day before the season starts. If you can’t see the craziness in that, then I can’t help ya breh. That’s some lower league/feeder club/Spurs level type madness.

Brightons back up who Chelsea only signed because he’s Caicedo’s best mate? :beli:Also, with one year left on his contract, Chelsea won’t be in a position to negotiate for even if he plays out of skin.

arsenal very dumb for not going for Isak last seasons

He had a poor season in 21/22. He wasn't worth the punt when they were trying to get into the Top 4. Sociedad were quoting Arsenal 75-80m when they looked at him in Jan 22 he only scored 3 goals from Jan till the end of the season. Newcastle was the ideal situation for him to develop. Less pressure than at Arsenal where people would expect him to perform straight away. Newcastles goal last season was to hopefully get a EL or EC place. Also Newcastle have Callum Wilson so he doesn't have the burden to be the main scorer.

:snoop:

What are Chelsea doing? Stuck with Brightons back up keeper, an injured Bettinelli and a couple of kids.

Might have to coax Hilario out of retirement if things get really desperate.

Liverpool
United
Arsenal

Newcastle played well today, but it’s only 1 game. Let’s wait and see how they handle the the Champions League combined with the Premiership. They’re in uncharted territories.
They were balling last year though.
And no. Besides Liverpool, none of those teams midfield hold up with Newcastle

Lol @ United

Bringing South American style f#ckery to Saudi :dead:

Context here is Hilal and Nassr rivalry( biggest clubs in biggest city Riyadh).

Past few years Ali Al-Bulayhi (guy who scrapped with him here) and Salem Al-Dawsari planted the Hilal flag after wins against Nassr so now Talisca returned the favour but Bulayhi got emotional :russ:

Here is Talisca mocking Dawsaris goal celebration too:

Naija / DMV
I'm from the school of the less you notice your 5 or 8 the better the game's going.
5 as in CDM (your 6) makes sense. But your 8 is your b2b midfielder, I’d think you’d want em to be active.
Ghana and Naija Excellence

:blessed:
Them boys play for the 3 Lions. Black Stars and Super Eagles don’t recognize these men :hubie:
I was going to say right before this match that Newcastle easily has the second best starting midfield in the league.

already better than Arsenals'
Newcastle’s midfield is nasty. Way too early to call BUT, IF Newcastle can keep up this form and stay clear of injuries, they have a shot for some silverware this season.
Newcastle weren't selling Isak. No chance.
I think he’s talking pre-Newcastle. His 2nd to last season at La Real was really good. His last season, however, was poor. He was more of a support striker but still didn’t score enough. Probably why Arsenal were turned off.
