Not sure what I said was defensive in anyway. I would say this same if it was any perceived top rival we just overpaid for one of their ok players with a year left on his deal while helping them with the ffp issues. I don't really give a shyt what part of the country it is. But do you.Stop being so defensive, all i'm saying is you'll probably care about/hate Chelsea more because you're more likely to know/speak to their fans.
It's the same with all the London clubs, a southern United fan is more likely to hate Arsenal and their fans because they know a lot of them, where as I genuinely couldn't tell you the last time i spoke to an Arsenal fan that wasn't online.
