lmao of course he chose Pebble Beach over Cardiff. He's the most obvious MLS retirement player besides Neymar.

How on earth is he not worth a DP slot? He'll probably be the best player in the league. Hopefully for the USMNT's sake this will mean he won't be in top form when the World Cup begins.

Worth it sure but hell of a move to get him on a TAM deal. I imagine he didn’t care about the $

Don't know what has gotten into Stan Kroenke, but it feels unreal to see Arsenal spend this much without selling players

A couple of things. He's only been the sole owner of Arsenal for like 2-3 years. So he has no more excuse.

Also over the past 2 years the Rams and Nuggets players have been rewarded with number of big contracts so at some point he had to show Arsenal the same love.

He's made killing off the LA stadium and Real estate.

Don't get too use to Arsenal spending money like this. If you hear Edu speak it looks like theyre building a squad NOW that can be around together for the next 4-5 years. So reading in-between the lines it looks like spend big last and this summer with the following years it will be like one big/biggish transfer a year coming in and/or maybe one big departure to fund the incoming transfers. :hubie:

Man U gonna be under pressure :sadcam:

Newcastle tooling up.. Tottenham and Arsenal making moves... Tuchel been given £200m to spend...City and Liverpool strengthening further

Might get spooky. No CL.. Players don't want to play for them. And out of everyone they probably need a squad overhall the most
Chelsea at least has an excuse because of change of ownership for lack of signings so far. But if they sign the wrong defender this summer they'll be fukked, especially if Thiago Silva hits the wall this season.

This club cannot multi task.

Focusing all their energy on De Jong, which will probably end with him staying at Barca...It's been a whole month since that started...

de Jong has to happen, they have too much invested into that transfer. ETH specifically wants him, he's a midfielder which is also a must buy, he's the biggest star United can sign these days and Barcelona wants to get rid of him. So I think FdJ is a guarantee but it all depends how long it will drag on and affect other potential transfers.
