Is it really normal to announce a new manager coming at the end of the season in the middle of the season when the new manager is currently in a job in the same league? Seems kind of weird.
I feel it’s something German clubs do.

Guardiola was announced as the next manager of Bayern in December of that treble season, iirc.

well you don't know who is actually moderating the statements.

if they individually feel the same way, who within the company can you escalate the issue to?

i saw the same thing on airbnb. in racist country, see racism on airbnb platform, complain to airbnb, case gets dealt with by a local racist, case gets moderated in favor of racist, nothing gets done.

it's like the institutionalised racism in 50's deep south. when it's everywhere .. who you gonna call?

^^ Leckie is spinning to get himself out of trouble but he has a point EVEN though he is scared to say it. Brits don't understand (or maybe the English more) but it is all show. Sky having Flex (and others) on the show is co-opting, it is NOT fundamental change. They will still go to the next Uni freshers week and ignore the working class / brehs / brown people in favour of the blue blood, english public school types. The day people in the former group have the ability to start changing the way the UK operates then something will finally have been changed. The rest is window dressing.

Leckie was treading carefully so that he didn't slip up and get in more trouble. One day I am gonna talk to Flex, Rants, Robbie and the mandem about this stuff from the point of view of someone who has taken a long look at the UK from the outside.

So. Cal
CHO > Pulisic.

Pulisic has already reached his ceiling it's clear he won't ever evolve into a hazard esque player.

Odoi looks bright anywhere you play him and can play anywhere. Pulisic needs to play in his strong spot or he's invisible

Breh, CHO is inconsistent. At least Pulsitic can make some runs consistently. No one expected him to play like Hazard. Injuries is whats holding him back

Emotional Ravel Morrison reveals he'd 'change 90% of my life' if he could go back to his Manchester United debut as a talented teen... after being 'touched' by heartfelt tribute from Sir Alex Ferguson, who says midfielder 'was beaten by his background'
  • Ravel Morrison has said he would do things differently if his career started over
  • Morrison received a tribute from Sir Alex Ferguson on Rio Ferdinand's podcast
  • He made his Manchester United debut aged 17 against Wolves back in 2010
  • Things did not work out and Ferguson felt he was 'beaten by his background
Morrison's career took him global as he went from United to West Ham, loans at Birmingham, QPR and Cardiff, a switch to Italy to join Lazio, a move to Mexico to play for Atlas, then to Sweden to join Ostersunds, before returning to England last season.

He made just one appearance for Sheffield United in 2019-20 before joining Middlesbrough on loan, where he made three appearances.

Morrison played four times in Holland for ADO Den Haag before his contract was terminated.

Ravel had one foot in the streets still throughout his early career and was a known hothead back in the day. He and Wilfred Zaha infamously almost had a fight on the pitch back in the day because Zaha was calling him out for not passing to anyone.

I don't know the ins and outs of Ravel's life but you can def be a product of your environment

Beaten by your background = C Murda. Having access to millions and legit opportunities but doing the same fukk ups as any other guy from his hood

The talk and even from him is that he couldnt leave the streets alone. It affected his ability to focus on what could have been a great career.

Good pod, such a wasted talent. Glad he was very honest.

Such a wasted talent, but sadly another example of not being focused and moving with wrong crowd.

"He was moving like he was Ronaldinho and the rest of us are just no-one.

"He's getting the ball and just doing tricks the only time he passes it is if he really needs to. And we're just stood there with our hands on our hips whilst he's going past six Lithuanian players.

"It was just like, 'What are you doing?'"
