Personally, I think a six game ban is excessive. I’m not caping for the guy because he’s an idiot, but clubs get lesser punishments for making monkey chants.

Mendy didn’t give a shyt, but I understand the FA had to step in since he posted the cartoon publicly. But six games? The FA is just trying to make it seem like they’re really combating racism when this is just a trivial gesture.

These organizations often get criticized for being too soft on racism. If they have to come down hard to make an example out of him then so be it. At least folks will think twice before saying some racist shyt going forward.
