Please tell me they don't have him on with the likes of Steve Nicol :what:

Probably one of the reasons why he doesn't get on Sky Sports much is because he would embarrass Neville & Carragher with his knowledge and the way he articulate it's and it would show everyone how bad them 2 are

And this reason as well :mjpls:

1) He's not a ranter + his presentation is well researched thus makes it too clean so it's not as charismatic.
2) He didn't play for Liverpool so he doesn't get the scouser pundit uplift.
3) 95% of the pundits are shyt. Talking themselves into thinking Rice/Bellingham double pivot is going to work. But I get why they think that but that's also why most of them are failed coaches. They cannot get beyond good players can play with other good players and thats why it will work type of analyst. When the reality is you need different types of skillsets within a line up and bench.

Unfortunately that has been going on for as long as we have both been following football as I think we are of a similar age

In recent years it has moved onto Man U players as 90's, 00's they have been the most successful team

I just wish they actually spread the punditry work around to other players from other clubs to make it a bit more fairer and unbiased

One player I would like to see more doing punditry work as I think he's good, articulate and comes across well with out a biased opinion is Theo Walcott

But in reality it's going to stay with mostly Man u/Liverpool players with women aswell to even it out ( don't start me on that, I'm not a pc guy, it's ruined the build up and aftermath of football for me )

They can :camby: along with Jamie Rednapp who is just as bad as them

Can we have a serious discussion about France?

Bc why are they losing to Croatia?

What does DeFraud have to do to get the sack? Where are the French midfielders?

Croatia have passers and France dont. France whole game plan is score first and then counter which fits their players best.

France have a couple of problems. The biggest issue which will continue post Des'Terrorisme is Mbappe. He isn't a striker he wants to be too involved in everything. He needs to be playing off someone like Mateta/Thuram. And his link up play isn't as good as Griezmann's was.

France also have too much of the same type of attacking player. Olise is the only one who has something different about his game as he's more of a passer.

France like England have the same issue lack of distribution directing/conducting and link players in the line up aka pass first type players. And to think Spain in 2012 Euros were starting 6 of them.

That’s an interesting point bc I don’t think France rn has anyone of that caliber that Spain had. Those Spanish boys were passers but more than a few of them had the ability to beat defenders and progress the ball. France’s midfield yesterday was :hhh:. They had three players of the same mold, all essentially defensive minded. And I like each of them, a bit different, but they would essentially fill the same roles in a more balanced team fighting for the same spot
