@detroitwalt , how do the "noodles" in spaghetti squash taste? Do they taste springy or mushy? I've been afraid to try it and been sticking to Shirataki noodles instead:

When it came out the oven it was only seasoned with salt pepper and olive oil.

Follwing that link tho, I put garlic, butter, and italian seasoning in the pan and then tossed the squash in. It taste really good then. But I kind over cooked them in the pan and it started to lose the "noodle" consistency and turn to mush but it was still good.

It only takes a minute or 2 for it to absorb the floveros of what you put in the pan so make sure you keep an eye on it.

They have a squash-ey taste. Takes some getting used to IMO.
They're really cheap like a buck or so per squash or less, especially in squash season so it might be worth it to just give it a try and see if you like it.

They can get mushy if overcooked.

If you aren't counting calories and your goal is to lose weight you will have a tough time. There isn't anything wrong with eating out but until you have a handle on what you are eating as a whole you are kind of just out there.

For example my company brought in lunch for meeting and it was Chick-fil-A box lunches. Since I knew what my calorie and macro goals were I had three sandwiches without the bun, a Greek yogurt I had in the fridge and some peanuts. Seems like a lot but it fit into what I had to eat numbers wise for the day :manny:

The best thing you can do us educate yourself about what the calorie impact of what you are eating.

it is a lot of work. hence why the majority of people are fat. You gotta think of yourself as something worth putting work into.
