Maidana is obviously a strong dude and bulked up to 165 for that very reason, to keep his body on mayweather, that shyt will tire you out, kinda like how Jon Jones did glover last week

but I thinking Porter can do it, he got faster hands than Maidana and he can fight that same smothering style

for reason though Mayweather came out flat, it seemed once he got warmed up he had more spring in his legs later in the fight

Floyd stans need to go away and stop bytching. Stop trying to downplay Maidana's performance. Floyd didn't lose a step. This was a good fight. Maidana fought well. Floyd didn't kill him in the ring. He just pulled a Floyd, started slow, and made enough adjustments to carry the last 7 rounds straight. Even if you had him winning, A LOT of the rounds were close. I had it 116-112, but anywhere from there to 114-114 is fair. Maidana's style gave Floyd trouble like Paulie said. Thoroughly entertaining fight.

I had it 8-4. The way Marcos fought was comedy to me. He was hurt to the body a few times. Floyd didn't capitalize though, maybe for reasons above

The rounds Floyd tagged him with Flush shots he won but he didn't do much for the 1st half of the fight

You can't tell me Maidana didn't win rounds 1,3,5 and 8.

And he did some good work 2, 11 and 12 ... Those rounds could have gone either way.

I got no gripes with 114-114 ... It was more of a 116-112 fight though
