You cannot compare sexism and institutionalised racism against black people.
I think as a person who experiences both that I can do EXACTLY that. No one here has said that sexism is greater than racism. They are both problems that black women face though. You dudes sound like whites who dismiss racism.
Yes. It's normal to want to look at something that catches your eye, but some dudes are just blatant and rude with it. Like, I'm talking straight stare down mode.I wanted to get some opinions on the male gaze
I understand that this is a problem that sometimes ties in with street harassment, and I've been conscious of myself looking at girls a bit too hard in the last year. Like most men, I'm very much an admirer of a woman's beauty, I'd wager quite a lot. But at the same time, is it uncomfortable when men look a bit too hard?

Dap/undap we sound nothing like whites who dismiss racism also I'm not dismissing sexism I believe it's a real issue but it's nothing like racism.

Will watch this in a while, but it's interesting to see that third-wavers and sex workers were extremely critical of her documentary. I've noticed there's a growing level of discontent between a particular section of feminists and sex workers - I mentioned briefly dating a girl who campaigned on their behalf (I haven't asked but I'm sure she was a sex worker previously) and I've seen her be quite critical of feminists who seem to talk down to/about porn actresses and other sex workers.
Funny to see the backlash from sex worker feminists themselves, but I kinda agree. You can support the workers without necessarily supporting the industry
