Not dropping bread on professional photography until the rest of my products are in. They've been selling well on Ebay as I already have stock photos from my wholesaler.

It’s working now, I just didn’t give it enough time the first go roundSo what are you selling exactly ?
Are you selling your own products ?
I thought you were experienced in this.
I use an HTML template for my Ebay descriptions. The benefits are that it's visually appealing, looks professional and I can type the bare minimum product details while still leaving a good impression on the buyer. For Amazon, I sold mainly books and cds so I never had to worry about writing a description. If you need a good virtual assistant on Upwork though I can refer you to one that I use. Just pm me if you want their details.@LeVraiPapi @MMS @Grizzly
How do you guys go about doing/outsourcing your product descriptions?
I’ve sharked a few and modified them but i’m thinking I may get someone from Upwork/Fiver due to time constraints.

Hell yeah, I been selling a lot but Ebay been eating like a mofo off of me, from the warranties I didn't know shyt about, to ad fees, to final value fees.I just put aside $2000 for a Facebook ad marketing budget. From reading different stories about people who run successful ecommerce stores they all echo the same thing. Once they installed their Facebook pixel, got their first 100 sales and created a lookalike audience from the data collected their store took off. I was already getting sales from Facebook ads without a real budget but I have some money in my war chest now that I'm gonna put to good use. Ebay is amazing and it is the vehicle that I'm using to catapult my other streams of income but at the end of the day that's their platform. I need my own shyt.
Man, it's the fees, the fact that Ebay always favors the buyers over the sellers and a bunch of other shyt. They might side with you in 1 or 2 cases but there's no seller protection. People can buy an item, wear it to a party or get-together and return that shyt by saying "It's Not As Described" so you can't decline it. I've been dominating one of my niches on Ebay so now because other people aren't selling as much I got butthurt competitors messaging me from different accounts telling me that they're gonna report my listings. Competitors purchasing shyt from me on different accounts, submitting returns to try to get defects put on my account for particular listings and admitting to it. You tell Ebay and they don't do shyt about it. Being a Top Rated Seller with all positive reviews doesn't mean shyt either. I'm staying on the site but there's been a lot of fukkery in the past couple days that opened my eyes real wide. I'm diversifying my platforms heavily now.Hell yeah, I been selling a lot but Ebay been eating like a mofo off of me, from the warranties I didn't know shyt about, to ad fees, to final value fees.
Definitely about to start building out my own website and pushing my shyt there
Nice, I was getting ready to go all in on Shopify because of shyt that was going on with Amazon but they fixed it. Still planning on going all on shopify though and use cards/emails to push my Ebay/Amazon customers there in the future.Man, it's the fees, the fact that Ebay always favors the buyers over the sellers and a bunch of other shyt. Yesterday I started directing some of my Ebay customers to my Shopify store and this is what happened:
They even spent more than they intended to because I was able to offer better pricing. No ad fees or final value fees and I made way more profit off those sales than I would have on Ebay.
