Haha, I seen a chick run out of this exact CVS with an armful of school supplies.

Maybe she had a paper due... :troll:

But this type of dysfunction....man I don't know why it hurts me so much to see Black folks engaging in it.

Tuesday, I'm over by South Capitol and Southern. See a breh rolling on the sidewalk with a stolen shopping cart and a bunch of boxes of potato chips.

Only 5 dollars*!

All I could do was shake my head. Cats just be down bad.

*almost bought some though...:russ:
Word its disheartening to see some of our people act this way and the most fukked up thing is that the DMV has the most political power in america and nikkas sqaunder it.

Im a flabbyhead and I remember when Glendenning was the county executive of PG and Black people ran to PG county to escape DC fukkery now they have the crime and poor schools that they left DC for.

Again people liked Marion Barry because he hired so many Black people theres was no reason why DC institutions had to fail

Now the same shyt is happening in PG and its because we fail to police ourselves

Why open a business in a Black community when you people will steal because they know youre Black?

My mom lives in that condo community. She loves it and I love how quiet and chill it is

It's the most low key part of SE to me.
  • The Safeway is nice
  • The Francis Gregory library is gorgeous.
  • No drama
  • And all Black as far as I can tell (but I'm sure there are some whites sprinkled in there)
I read that one of/a few of DC's mayors lived in that area.

The more you go east (back to my part of Congress Heights), the more "live" it gets.

If I only had 700K to cop a house....

Yes, but I'm not hip to that Safeway though lol

Yes Marion Barry used to live on Suitland road by that church on the corner

If I ever move back to SE, Hillcrest would be the first option
