i've been to visit SE once :picard:

A lot of SE looks nice, imo. Compared to say spots I been to in the Midwest that look like Post Soviet Era Russia...

Looks can be deceiving though.

I remember flying into LAX.

And the cab was taking me and my ex to the hotel.

I thought to myself, "Look at these palm trees. This weather.....

How is it possible for Inglewood to be up to no good?

yeah a lot of DC hoods don't really look that bad for the most part.

I'm not expert on SE but much of it looks nice to me

Brehs what are your favorite places to shop for clothes in DMV

Favorite is a strong word. I don't get the pleasure from buying clothes like I once did.

Professional
  • Suits - Suit Supply in G'Town (A hike from Foggy Bottom)
  • Dress Shirts - Charles Tyrwhitt - Conn Avenue /F.North red line
  • Dress Shoes - Paul Smith @ City Center (metro center)
Casual
  • Nordstrom's/Pentagon City stop

I've been out to Tyson's on occasion, but WFH got me not rocking that type of stuff anymore.

In terms of "hidden" gems, there used to be a men's wear spot on Conn Ave up by the southern exit of Dupont Circle. I'm not sure if it's there anymore.

I've never been in Common Wealth (on 14th) but passing by it looks like a Hype Beast spot. Honestly if I want "Supreme"-esque stuff, I go to that skate shop on U.

Any locals been to The Boulevard at Capital Centre in Largo when it was open? Someone told me about it recently and I was :dead: when I saw old pics and google maps of it comparing it to now. I always thought it was just an underdeveloped plaza.
