Thank God someone finally had the balls to blow this shyt show up. Was a walking zombie of a trash bin of a franchise just limping along.

And Zack Snyder caused this mess, fukk the dumb shyt. Not sure where this nostalgia of his "good" work came from. His best work was a fun but very flawed Man Of Steel. Everything else was ass. Bottom of the barrel.

And the truly sad part about this cinematic failure is the fact that anybody with two eyes could clearly tell you this franchise needed to be blown up.

It was only the moronically stupid totally biased and ignorant fans of the DC Universe that convinced themselves that this was salvageable.

Instead of them acknowledging their mistakes back in like 2016 and rebooting themselves they instead kept compounding their mistakes with mediocre film after mediocre film with false hope and promises that the next film would suddenly catapulted to where it needed to be.

That's why they threw the kitchen sink and everything like Michael Keaton, Flashpoint and Black Adam. Contrary to popular opinion The Rock is not box office gold. He's popular but not a box office titan. Tom Crusie Ala Mission Impossible he is not.

He's just extremely busy with multiple projects. Ala Master P (no slight at P) of the 90's. Quantity over substance, so the totals of multiple items sell without a definite box office anchor. He's an "A" due to charm, sheer will and personality but a role player at the box office, hence why all his franchise anchors tanked ( Scorpion King, Black Adam, Baywatch) but him as supporting role do well (F&F, Pain & Gain)

Get a solid reboot for Superman in 2025 with good footing and hopefully things start well.

The Batman is their only "must keep" right now.

Warner Bros. Discovery has been all over the place with their changes involving their DC Films projects. It was recently revealed that James Gunn and Peter Safran would takeover the newly minted DC Studios, but they would also inherit their problems including their The Flash issue. Ezra Miller made headlines for weeks after he allegedly assaulted people at a karaoke bar in Hawaii, as well as numerous other allegations. Reports were claiming that the studio was trying to decide what they would do with The Flash, with the options being to reshoot with a different actor, shelve the film or release it, and hope that the controversy died down. The two former options would have been too costly for Warner Bros. so they opted to release the film next year. Miller eventually went in to apologize for his actions and began treatment for mental health issues. According to a new report from Variety, it seems that the actor could stay on as the Scarlet Speedster.

"Given that Miller has stayed out of trouble since beginning mental health treatment in the summer," the trade continued. "Some executives are amenable to continuing with the actor as the world-saving speedster after "The Flash" bows on June 16."

I find this extremely hard to believe :pachaha:

This Flash film is the last chance to get a vestige of the last DCEU into Gunn's new regime. It's got to perform well among critics and in the box office, they've already shown that just fan appellation isn't going to cut it with the Snyder Cut of JL.

The trailer was cleaner than the GOTG one but has way less views, that's what they're having to compete with; that stigma attached to the brand by the general public. Thankfully the positive word of mouth is spreading across social media so that should turn in the coming months.
