I figured I would come through and show love in he Dallas thread. Originally from South Oak Cliff would be in Glendale Park all the time as a kid. I was Townview Class of 2003 but my home school was SOC.

Nah man, it not dangerous like that. There are alot of other areas of in the Metroplex that are alot worse in my opinion. My son's Grandmother stays out there and I don't ever have no problems.
Just like any other hood it has its good parts & bad parts

Y'all got me earlier in the thread when y'all were talking about rainbow deli because I used to walk there all the time and get burgers next door at Glenview foods. Also went to Benedetto's with my mom when it was open. Learned to swim at the Y on Ledbetter. Memories.
