I can't rep you right now, as soon as I pass some rep around, I'm swinging some rep your way.For me it was the first time I seen him play like shyt where the offensive line wasn't mostly fine. I never had a problem with him playing like shyt before because in all those games Tyler the sack Creator is getting shoved in his lap or Steele trash ass is just straight up whiffing on blocks and every single QB in the league looks like shyt when they don't trust their linemen to block and they are just trying to keep from getting hit. This time though he was not under any type of pressure Tyler and Steele was mostly okay, he just stood in the pocket and didn't know what to do. He was just straight up outsmarted. Not outplayed. Not out competed. OUTSMARTED. You can't be getting outsmarted in year 8. Can't do it.
And then...even worse...soon as he was down 27. Soon as it was over. Soon as every person knew there was 0% chance Dallas was coming back...here he comes. Here comes the throws. Here comes the moving in the pocket and going downfield. Here comes the yards and the touchdowns. AS SOON as the pressure of the moment was over, and there was no expectation to win, Dak started playing well. And in that moment it became clear. Dude can't play well when there is pressure on him. And it aint no way to win or even get to the super bowl without playing under pressure. And thus, we never going anywhere with Dak. And thus there is no point in having him here.
He put up such great regular season numbers, he had the cowboys offense looking unstoppable so many times throughout the years, that I just figured if we can just block and have enough of a run game he can do that on the biggest stage. But the packer game revealed he can't. He won't ever be that guy in the playoffs. He won't ever be that top 5 offense guy. It aint no point in paying attention to the Dak who over a 7 week period goes 6 - 1 with 15 touchdowns and 3 picks with a perfect QB rating. That dude aint NEVER going to show up when it matters.
And now...when I look back at this season...it all makes sense. His playoff performance fell right in line with what he did this season. Everyone knew coming into the season that the top 3 teams in the NFC was 49ers, Dallas, Eagles, and they all played each other so it would get settled. Everyone had that 49ers game circled. He didn't play well up to that game and he didn't play well in that game. Cause he felt the weight of that game. The weight of whoever wins this is probably the best team in the NFC. And then after he lost to Philly, any chance of the division was over. And after that Philly game...with it being clear the 49ers were better...with it being almost impossible to win the division...there was no more pressure, we were resigned to a wildcard spot. He played great. And then Philly had arguably the biggest in season collapse in nfl history. And then he lucked into that 2 seed. And then everyone said well just go ahead and punch the cowboys ticket to the nfc championship game they never lose at home and they about to get two games at home. Now its expectations. Now people penciling you in. Now the talk is how can anyone keep up with you at home. Now the Packers game is just a formality. Now the pressure is on you to win. And he completely folded up. So I can never believe in him again. He can never be the man on the field. I don't know if he can even be a man on the field anymore period. I bet when he got home all his toilets seats were down. He sit down to pee now. Jerry need to go ahead and throw them urinals' away cause these nikkas bytched up so bad aint none of them peeing standing up anytime soon.
Same thing for Micah. You know who Micah is? He the Dak Prescott of Edge Rushers. shyt I don't even know if he that. At least Dak put up numbers in garbage time. Micah probably still getting his head shoved in the dirt by some random ass Packers linemen they probably couldn't get a 5th round pick for.
I'm going to smooth just pretend like you aint even type this part. When i read about that story my brain just said "nope nope nope" cause aint NO WAY somebody could be that corny and cringeI can't rep you right now, as soon as I pass some rep around, I'm swinging some rep your way.
I gave up on this goofball after the 2022 SF playoff loss. I wasn't even mad at that game or any of them moving forward. I was cracking up at this past Packers game. This franchise is past living off it's past success. It's on fumes. The owner and GM don't know how to change that so here we lie...
the QB said he bought LV items because it reminded him of the Super Bowl and where it was being played. Our all everything pass rusher go run to his podcast and talk tough but praise everybody...He gets his 13 sacks and he's good to go.
I'm sure I'll be back, just need my usual time away from these jokers and this foolishness...
I was actually 50/50 on it. I think it's clear the fanbase is out on both Dak and McCarthy and to bring them back is to risk fans tuning out next season just off of that alone and we know the one thing Jerry WONT tolerate is people not paying attention to Dallas. With Mike back who could possibly even care about next season at all? Who could possibly feel any type of way about him winning 12 games again? Who could possibly feel any type of way about him getting smoked in the playoffs again?not me lol. I knew they were going to bring him back for his last remaining year. He gone regardless after next season unless they make a nfc championship
They won't get Snyder stink off of them that fast. It'll take years. It's not like the cowboys will win anything while they continue to be bad. But they will continue to be bad.Skins bout to be the top NFC East team for the next decade

But to counter that point...Cowboys got more bandwagon fans than anybody. For ever real fan who will tune out 10 more bandwagon fans will tune in when they post those pictures of Denzel at Oxnord talking to the team in August.
It's not an easy feat but it also doesn't get us anywhere near our goals. We have 1 playoff win in 4 years with McCarthy and it came against a 45 year old with one foot out the league, a team who couldn't run the ball, a terrible defense, and one of the most conservative coaches in the league. We going to have all of that going for us again? Cause every single time we didn't have that going for us we lost in the playoffs. We gotta keep it real 3x 12-5 seasons is not a easy feat. With Garrett we were struggling to win 9 games. Mike not going nowhere. But this off season that whole franchise need to do some deep deep deep soul searching and reassessment.
The team probably wanted Mike back because he the cool coach and he dont coach them. Everybody loves the cool teacher and not the strict one.
I think Jerruh is doing this, because he plans on hiring Deion next season. he knows Deion is a BIG NAME, and someone who he feels comfortable with, and has a relationship with.
Less wear and tear on the edge positionHe is playing the wrong position. Because he wants to. It wasn't poor coaching. It was Micah decision to be an edge rusher. That is a glamour position. Micah aint going back to being a linebacker and playing in a crowd and making plays all over the field. Aint no notoriety or fame to be gained in that. Dude wants to just mindlessly chase the QB, get one sack in a game that would be a blowout, and call it a day.
This 100%.We on the same page w the bumass QB, but Quinn gotta go. He doesnt have an answer for the Shanahan coaching tree.
They all have their way w this defense and its schematically
