For me it was the first time I seen him play like shyt where the offensive line wasn't mostly fine. I never had a problem with him playing like shyt before because in all those games Tyler the sack Creator is getting shoved in his lap or Steele trash ass is just straight up whiffing on blocks and every single QB in the league looks like shyt when they don't trust their linemen to block and they are just trying to keep from getting hit. This time though he was not under any type of pressure Tyler and Steele was mostly okay, he just stood in the pocket and didn't know what to do. He was just straight up outsmarted. Not outplayed. Not out competed. OUTSMARTED. You can't be getting outsmarted in year 8. Can't do it.
And then...even worse...soon as he was down 27. Soon as it was over. Soon as every person knew there was 0% chance Dallas was coming back...here he comes. Here comes the throws. Here comes the moving in the pocket and going downfield. Here comes the yards and the touchdowns. AS SOON as the pressure of the moment was over, and there was no expectation to win, Dak started playing well. And in that moment it became clear. Dude can't play well when there is pressure on him. And it aint no way to win or even get to the super bowl without playing under pressure. And thus, we never going anywhere with Dak. And thus there is no point in having him here.
He put up such great regular season numbers, he had the cowboys offense looking unstoppable so many times throughout the years, that I just figured if we can just block and have enough of a run game he can do that on the biggest stage. But the packer game revealed he can't. He won't ever be that guy in the playoffs. He won't ever be that top 5 offense guy. It aint no point in paying attention to the Dak who over a 7 week period goes 6 - 1 with 15 touchdowns and 3 picks with a perfect QB rating. That dude aint NEVER going to show up when it matters.
And now...when I look back at this season...it all makes sense. His playoff performance fell right in line with what he did this season. Everyone knew coming into the season that the top 3 teams in the NFC was 49ers, Dallas, Eagles, and they all played each other so it would get settled. Everyone had that 49ers game circled. He didn't play well up to that game and he didn't play well in that game. Cause he felt the weight of that game. The weight of whoever wins this is probably the best team in the NFC. And then after he lost to Philly, any chance of the division was over. And after that Philly game...with it being clear the 49ers were better...with it being almost impossible to win the division...there was no more pressure, we were resigned to a wildcard spot. He played great. And then Philly had arguably the biggest in season collapse in nfl history. And then he lucked into that 2 seed. And then everyone said well just go ahead and punch the cowboys ticket to the nfc championship game they never lose at home and they about to get two games at home. Now its expectations. Now people penciling you in. Now the talk is how can anyone keep up with you at home. Now the Packers game is just a formality. Now the pressure is on you to win. And he completely folded up. So I can never believe in him again. He can never be the man on the field. I don't know if he can even be a man on the field anymore period. I bet when he got home all his toilets seats were down. He sit down to pee now. Jerry need to go ahead and throw them urinals' away cause these nikkas bytched up so bad aint none of them peeing standing up anytime soon.
Same thing for Micah. You know who Micah is? He the Dak Prescott of Edge Rushers. shyt I don't even know if he that. At least Dak put up numbers in garbage time. Micah probably still getting his head shoved in the dirt by some random ass Packers linemen they probably couldn't get a 5th round pick for.
