@The Chief Please keep updating with your pics. I swear travel on the African continent is GOAT.

@Lucky_Lefty I see you’re going to Lagos. If I’m on ground when your there always feel free to reach out to me. I appereciate your advice when I whent to Jo’Burg, took my trip to a whole different level. Deff gotta return the favour.

SA is my next trip. Gotta do Jozi one more time and get to CT. Honestly, SA is gonna be one of my regular spots from now on. Kinda like how I always go to NYC every year and at least once in the summer.

I spent the last few days at a tech conference so not many more pics relevant to this thread.

Rwanda is small so you can do alot in just 3-4 days. Id say if you have Rwanda on your radar just do 4 days max and maybe do a few days in Tanzania. Of course if you are on business or trying to get at the women spend as long as you want.

I got my eye on doing business there cause you can start a business in 24 hours and their President seems very forward thinking.

Yea my mom was in Kigali for a conference not too long ago and she said the same thing concerning business. Said Rwanda is in need of skill workers and the policies are very forward looking. Kagame has cut a lot of red tape that in other African nations would have been used as means for graft.

My next east African tour will deff include Kigali.

Kampala and Nairobi for the women though lol:shaq:

Daar gonna be there as well.

That whole EAC has really been doing well.

Nigeria gotta wake up. You can only live off potential for so long. Eventually you gotta start producing results. Although Nigeria has a larger problem due to size and various ethinic groups that want their way.

Lol all the nigerians there sounded defeated. I overheard one Nigerian breh saying that Nigeria needs a kagame.

Right now Im just observing which areas of opportunities make the most sense for me to go after business wise. Im in tech so I’ve been thinking about finding a fully remote gig so my location wont matter, getting into a major corp with a presence on the continent or just going to an org on the continent. Lol my girl loves the continent too but we gotta have a real talk about how my plans will impact starting a family. Whether its we all go to the continent or Im the one going back and forth.

The back and forth thing can deff be a strain.

Nigeria needs someone like Kagame that realizes the petty politics of yesterday just ain’t it. The world is moving forward at break neck speed and if you don’t develop and thrive you’ll be asking for handouts when the next wave of advancements comes forward.

Then again, Ghana and Rwanda from a size and population perspective aren’t as big as Nigeria. Kenya also hase Swahili as a unifying national language.

Can’t wait to go to Lagos. Honestly, if it were safe I want to do a West African road trip from Dakar to Lagos.

But it is.

In high school I went from Lagos to Accra by bus for a school field trip. Hit Lome and Cotonou on the way. I can't imagine Accra to Dakar being too different.

I will be doing a Lagos to Dakar road trip when I get back for my youth service in Nigeria.

That’s good to know. I really feel like a road trip along the coast would be one of the GOAT trips of my life. All those cultures, foods, I’d have souvenirs out the ass. Benin especially. I wanna cop a fetish for good luck.

Gonna be a great trip

Lagos
Cotonou
Lome
Accra
Abidjan
Monrovia
Freetown
Conakry
Bissau
Banjul
Dakar

Toughest part might be the immigration spots to be honest. That's about it. Roads on some areas would also be trash I assume. Get you an old but reliable Toyota Road runner and you should be good.
