Ms.Marvel IS the coolest female in Marvel!

Yes, but she's still young and developing, so you can't really count her. Anwen was a cool character too...but she's in limbo.

Even though they work better as street characters, Jen & Misty fit anywhere on any team, any type of book..never being compromised.

This is what they need to do. Tbh, a lot of them are just boring or get so pigeon-holed in team concepts that they appear too one-dimensional on their own. Hell even the movie restricted ones like Storm and Invisible Woman, they've been so pigeon-holed and under-developed that Storm's solo attempt failed miserably and i don't think Sue Storm has ever had a solo, and that shyt would probably flop too. Spider-Gwen and Ms Marvel would wreck them in sales despite being less prestigious. Granted, there are no doubt a number of underlining factors for why pretty much every x-character but wolverine (and deadpool?) have had iffy times in solo ventures -not just the x-women, and why Sue is known more as this bored housewife adultery-tease for Doom Namor and even BP, than anything helpful to expanding her fanbase.

Hmm I'm trying to think of the new characters (2010's) that are getting no shine and deserve it.

I rather them not be paired at all then. The amount of black males in comics who are paired with non black females is disgusting.
On one hand it makes sense. Not a lot of black superheroes so they're pickings are slim if they wanted to date within the super hero community. Of course they could date a civilian but it seems like Marvel has a hard on for heroes dating heroes.

Robbie Reyes was dope before his series got canceled. Ghost racers was dope for what it was too. Hopefully being in agents of shield changes that. And its the inverse, but spider Gwen was putting the cart before the horse. People wanted her in video games and cartoons before she even appeared in Comics on her design.

Just read the new issue of Civil War 2. Brehs, I have never witnessed a more annoying self righteous character than Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. Then I read the Heroes For Hire tie-in that had Carol going after Cage, Centurius, and Songbird. Cage's speech to Carol was spot on. Who da hell does Carol think she is?! I can't wait till Ulysses has a vision of her killing somebody.....she gonna go quietly?

What's bad is that her as a character prior to the name change was good. She was cool and fun but still could get busy when needed to. She was similar to Jen, but Jen is way cooler. Actually Jen & Misty are the coolest females in Marvel, and while they did have some push, they'll never get the ultimate push probably because they can't fly.

At this point, they might as well just create a new character.

I kinda think MArvel's scared to death to create fresh out the box characters right now. Their track record sucks.

Their last successful characters that weren't tied in any way to older characters were... who (yes, I'm actually asking for help on this)?

Ms. Marvel (who has the name, but is brand new with no ties to anyone)?

America Chavez? (who's... sort of popular, but they didn't give her that mainstream push)

Bendis is DESPERATELY trying to make Goldballs popular. (goat faced girl is more popular)

Guillotine, who I had no idea debuted in that contests of champions mobile game, so she's somewhat known?

Edit: got it. Agent Coulson (:what:)!

I made a post prolly some time last year where I was saying Marvel markets their books the same way major record labels push their records.

Right now, Marvel is pulling the equivalent of creating clones of older, successful acts, signing them to 360 deals and cashing out on their one hit single, streams and tours (kid this, female that, ethnic this person, teen that person)

You peeped that too? I think @Mobb Alchemist just unintentionally spoiled Civil War II :lolbron:

Then again, just because it's the rightful poetic ending, doesn't mean it'll be the Bendis ending :troll:

Stay tuned :troll:

Are Carol Danvers and Supergirl still with Black boyfriends?
