Aside from a few changes, all else is the same.

Finished new Thanos story. shyt was basically his version of Secret Wars.

Secret Wars would have been perfect for Marvel to do something along the lines of Crisis of Infinite Earths. Merge their Ultimate universe along with the mainstream Marvel universe to clear up a lot if BS that has occurred in the last 10-15 years and start from scratch.

I picked up Secret Wars just to stay somewhat in the loop and I got a little emotional when they had those pages that were a tombstone of sorts of the Marvel Universe. So they didn't change things? Is Miles at least in the main universe now? Is there still a separate Ultimate line?

Ultimate line is gone. Miles Morales & co and The Maker (the evil Reed Richards) are the only ones who made it into the "new" universe. Some things have changed but it's mostly just the usual retcon shenanigans (for instance, everybody has forgotten that Matt Murdock is Daredevil again).

Haha They'll figure out his identity in a few issues I'm sure. I'm almost relieved that things aren't complete new. But seriously, they're a$$holes for those pages making me feel like it was over. There are some things you shouldn't do for sales. I remember my friend telling us at the lunch table in college that you can lie and tell a girl your dikk is bigger than it is. But that trick only works once. Nobody told Marvel that, I guess.
