It's a running gag that Dazzler can't die.

As for Rhodey,

he kinda already died. Twice, if you want to be technical. He became a cyborg that could combine with any electronic/vehicle or some crazy weird ish, then he died...well his life support systems were disabled, but his original body had already been cloned. So he was transferred into that new body. i think it was in "Weapon of SHIELD and Dark Reign. I haven't read since then.

yea that mini series had some GREAT art, i remember being really impressed with it for the first few issues... violent as shyt too. I don't think i ever finished it though, b/c the plot itself i wasn't as enamored with, plus the whole premise that you described had made me feel he was moving into Cyborg / Deathlok territory.

That was one of two miniseries i remember him having.. there was another even more recent (i think) or around the time Iron Man 3 came out b/c he was wearing the iron patriot suit, altho the art work wasn't nearly as good.

i'm late, but that outfit and look they gave dazzler is terrible. But i flipped through the last issue of A-Force and i guess they're going to change it back or into something else.

I never see the 2008 X-Force run get any love. Read 24 of the 25 issues and enjoyed it.
