The death was so predictable its embarrassing.

The moment they announced Tony and Carol were the leads in the event I knew Rhodes was a goner.

I had a feeling he might die as well. I just figured they would come up with something better than that.

Rhodey might get murked in the movies too, hopefully I'm wrong on that.

I bet it has more to do with Carol in the long term, which doesn't make it any better smh. Been sayin it for a year now.. Don Cheadle may be too old and un-athletic lookin to be her love interest in the MCU.

There was a report a few days ago that we may get casting announcements for her this summer, so i wouldn't be surprised if they cast her young, ala Emily VanCamp who was 27-28 when she got cast for Sharon Carter, and we start seein someone like Wonder Man or another past or new love interest for Carol pop up shortly after Rhodey is put on the shelf.
