The more I read by Al Ewing the more he seems like one of those writers who absolutely gets how comics work, but might just be lacking the raw talent to ever write something truly great.:patrice:

Also, dap + rep for anyone who can tell me what the fukk exactly happened in Nameless? shyt was so crazy that it made Annihilator look like sane.

Last but not least.

Here the cover for Issue 3 Bendis dropped this on tumblr. From what seen Bendis is far ahead in writing Miles story

Cases in point? Just curious is all.

The books he's currently writing. They're full of original and clever ideas with solid/strong characterizations but reading them I never get the feeling it's going to that next level, the kind of feeling you'd get from a Morrison, an Ellis, a Vaughan, a Rucka, etc. It's hard to explain but while I really enjoy Ultimates and New Avengers and the first one especially has tons of potential to change the game, I don't get that feeling from it whatsoever.

Gotcha. Not reading new avengers right now. I'm maxed out from hickman's run. Ultimates hasn't started a grand arc so i'm neither here nor there. I guess time will tell.
